Perfect Duos of Malluwood ! !

Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazim

Touted as the hottest onscreen couple of the recent times, Nivin and Nazriya are paired together for the third time in Jude Antony's Om Shanti Oshana. They captured hearts first through the chartbuster song, Nenjodu Cherthu, and then again in Alphonse Putharen's bilingual film, Neram. "Nivin and Nazriya, and even their families share a great rapport. Even looks-wise, they are a winsome onscreen couple," says Jude Antony, who confesses to have had apprehensions about casting them together again, as expectations can be high due to the duo's track record. "The film's shooting is currently progressing, and we all feel that zeroing in on them was the right decision," says Jude and adds that while Om Shanti Oshana's plot revolves a lot around Nazriya's character, Nivin did not shy away from taking it up as he liked the story.

Fahadh Faasil and Swati Reddy

Post the musical satire Amen that raked positive reviews, Fahadh and Swati teamed up again for Anil Radhakrishna Menon's recent release, in a completely different avatar. Their onscreen chemistry in Amen was lauded on social networking sites too with posts and videos that single out their filmi moments together.

Anil, who roped in the sizzling duo says, "Swati and Fahadh are close friends and their dynamics reflect in their films too. They keep pulling each other's legs on the set, but complement each other well." Recalling an instance, Anil says, "There is a scene where they hide behind a tree. Though what I had scripted for the sequence was a conventional reaction, Swati and Fahadh along with Nedumudi Venu improvised it, which was much better."

Namitha and Kunchacko Boban

Their performances as Chakka Gopan and Kainakeri Jayashree in Pullipulikalum Attinkuttiyum got a big thumbs up from the audience, and the two will be seen again in Lijin Jose's Law Point. The lovely pair's next movie will be a comical thriller, which will see them playing roles quite different from their first film together. "I feel they rocked in Pullipulikalum... However, my decision to cast them together in Law Point was made much before its release, as I knew they will be apt for the role," says Lijin.

Mammootty and Reenu Mathews

As a middle-class couple, the duo did a terrific job in Emmanuel, and their chemistry was lauded. They will act together again in Shibu Gangadharan's debut movie, Praise the Lord. The film is said to be a social satire, based on author Zachariya's story. The movie will see the duo teaming up again as a Christian couple from Pala. "I've felt that Reenu is the one among the current crop of actresses who fits perfectly well opposite Mammootty for such roles. I loved their dynamics in Emmanuel too," says Shibu.
