Veena Malik is one confident girl. The actress, who is known to speak her mind, says that when it comes to picking films, she is not lured by big names. What matters to her is getting meaty and significant roles.
Veena, who made her debut in Kannada films with Silk Sakkath Hot earlier this year, has said that a big budget film, starring biggies like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan, doesn't matter to her if she has nothing worthwhile to do in it. However, she is not averse to doing an item number in any of the Khans' films, terming sharing screen space with them a 'dream'.
Not many know that before starting her career in films, Veena worked as a comedian for several television shows and series. She found fame after hosting a TV show in Pakistan. After gaining popularity in Bollywood, she was roped in to do Silk Sakkath Hot. The film sparked off several controversies, with some groups objecting to its vulgar scenes. It finally released in the first week of August and fared well at the BO.
